License terms

Amy AI ("the Software") consists of the Amy AI extension for Azure DevOps and the Amy AI backend container image. It is © Valor Consulting Emanuel-Eduard Chirileanu ("the Publisher"). All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

1. License

The Publisher grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your organization's internal purposes, including running the backend image in infrastructure that you control.

2. Restrictions

You may not, except as permitted by applicable law:

• sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the Software, or offer it as a hosted service to third parties;
• modify, adapt or create derivative works of the Software;
• decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Software;
• remove or alter notices of ownership or license terms.

3. Third-party components

The Software contains open-source components that are licensed under their own terms. Those terms apply to those components, and nothing here limits your rights under them.

4. Your responsibilities

You operate the backend, choose the AI provider and are responsible for your accounts, credentials, AI usage and costs, and for complying with your provider's terms and with laws that apply to the data you process. Review AI-generated content before relying on it; Amy asks for your confirmation before it changes anything.

5. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from the use of or inability to use the Software.

7. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach these terms. On termination, stop using the Software and remove it from your organization and infrastructure.

8. Changes

The Publisher may publish new versions of these terms; the version in effect when you install or update the Software applies.
